The FPSC has again put together a Food Safety Hub at the PMA Fresh Connections trade show to provide trade show attendees with a one-stop shop where they can pick up the latest in food safety services, technology, retailer and regulatory requirements, information, events, research and guidance.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand: A one-day event is planned to be held in Wellington, New Zealand that will explore the consumer, public health, trade and scientific perspectives on the challenges that lie ahead. Support for the Trans-Tasman Fresh Produce Safety Centre (FPSC) was clearly demonstrated in New Zealand in February this year when over forty representatives from the fresh produce industry attended events held by the Centre in Hawke’s Bay.
Following the FPSC Boardâ€™s quarterly meeting, around 30 QA/food safety people gathered to hear a review of the Centreâ€™s recent activities, plans for further Australia and New Zealand collaboration on food safety and an update on New Zealand issues from HortNZ. Attendees raised a number of issues of importance to the industry in New Zealand.Read Article →
