Fresh produce safety and COVID-19

An updated report from December 2020 from the New Zealand Food Safety Science and Research Centre on COVID 19 indicates there is currently no evidence of foodborne transmission of COVID-19 and there is negligible risk of spread from food products or packaging. Read the report here.
